Crydom D2W203F Solid State Relay

I'm trying to save some money on a project.· I only need two relays to fire 110v solenoid coils.

By specs it appears I can use the Crydom D2W203F Solid State Relay·directly to a BS2 output pin.

The BS2 can sink/source at least 20mA.· This relay only requires 3mA.

Am I missing something???· Or should this work!!!

Yes, that will work. I'd use a 220 ohm in series on the BS2 output just to be safe.

    Chris,

Thanks for your response. Was wondering if I should use a diode, resistor or optical couple inline.

If any other ideas or thoughts come to mind let me know. I have a couple weeks to address this issue.

BTW - I'm building a control system for a Kart engine Dynometer.
