PDB power usage?

Does anyone one know how much power the PDB uses with a BS2 and SX28 installed? If somebody already knows about what the actual power draw is, that would save me the trouble of·hooking up·a meter between the AC adapter and the board. I·realize it probably doesn't use a whole lot, but that heatsink on the regulator is pretty dinky and I need about another 250 mA on top of what the PDB uses and I think it may be too much.

edit: can't spell

The BASIC Stamp 2 uses 3mA (idle) and the SX chip varies depending on the frequency that is used.· Look on 41 of the data sheet for more information.· Here is a link for the data sheet:· http://www.parallax.com/sx/downloads.asp#DataSheets

I went home at lunch time and made the measurement. With nothing but the BS2 running (the SX isn't actually running with no SX-Key or resonator/crystal right?) and my meter between the plug on the AC adapter and the jack on the PDB, I measured about 105 mA. With a Peter Anderson 4x20 backlit serial LCD and SHT11 module added it rose to about 145 MA. After adding the PINK/NetBurner it was reading around 405 mA (there was some fluctuation). I use one of those regulated switching AC adapters, it puts out a steady 8.95 or so·volts, so this is about 1.6 watts total power dissipation. The regulator was getting kind of warm, but I guess it'll be okay.
