Data Logger issues
Hello,
I just received the USB Data Logger and the test program hangs while trying to write to a memory stick.
Does the red LED on the data logger indicate an issue with the attached memory stick?
Is there documentation for the status indicator?
Thanks

If the memory is removed during a write or read operation it can corrupt it and require that the memory be re-formatted. That includes removal from the logger or the PC.
One problem that I had was the way in which the stick was formatted. I have Win XP and the normal way I would format was in explorer. I found I had more control of the format via Control Panel--->Administrative Tools--->Computer Management--->Disk Management.
I chose to format FAT 32 and Allocation unit size 512. This may not be the cause of your problems but it is something to bear in mind for the future, it resolved the issues that I was having.

Thanks for the information.
I have two different memory sticks and they both exhibit the same problem.
When I run the DataloggerTestV1.0 program on my BS2P one memory stick fails to match the seed file the other hangs after the seed # is displayed. I did change the Baud constant from 84 to 240 to account for the BS2 to BS2P baud rate difference.
Could there be some other issue in using the BS2P for this checkout?
If everything is working should the LED on the datalogger be Red or Green when the drive is ready?
Thanks

I am using a MAC G5 with a Keyspan USA-19HS USB to serial adapter to talk with my BS2P24.
Not making the baud constant change from 84 to 240 (BS2 to BS2P24) was my first problem.
The second is either the Keyspan adapter or the MacBS2 program. If I restart the program I can read the debug information from the sample program. So now I can read and write to both of my memory sticks and a 128Mb CF card through a USB card reader.
