As described in the help file to create a clicky ie·· to search click here· as opposed to a hyperlink like http://www.parallax.com
the code would be [url=http://www.parallax.com]click here[/url]
this doesn't work?(if it did·all you'd see above is click here)·Is the feature turned off if so why is it in the help file?

    I post links like that all the time. I think maybe it doesn't work from "Quick Reply".

    ok doing the same cut and paste test:

    [url=http://www.parallax.com]click here[/url]

    I just don't understand whats going wrong?

    The fact that you can cut and paste and get my text to work proves its not a typo so the only thing i can think of its something like an option·you have switched on that i havnt got.

    Is there an option to switch· mcode on/off somewhere? I've checked for this in my profile but can't find the option anywhere.

    ·Edit to change wrong naming of code from html to mcode

    ok think i've sussed it, here goes:

    Parallax has a great site, to see just click here

    yippee it works!

    Ok as advice to others not able to get it to work here's the problem

    I was using the full editor as is the default with IE 5.5 or higher but this "default" editor is actually whats called the WYSIWYG editor which doesnt give you mcode tags functionality, just the ability to type them(what you see is what you get), to make them work you have to switch to the Standard Form option by clicking the option above the box containing all the emoticons.

    Thanks for your assistance RDL your help made me realise something wasn't selected properly and so i delved deeper into the help file and found it.
