I need an multichannel (8 preferably) 8 bit (I want to use· bytes for variables)·ADC to use with my BASIC stamp.· Doesn't anybody have one that they particulary favor/ know works well?· I found this: http://focus.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tlc0838.pdf·would it work?

    Are you mentioning the MAX1270?· I understand how to wire one up, I just want to know what would be a good choice for the IC.· I noticed that there are a lot of 12 bit ADCs but I would realy like an 8 bit one.· Sorry if I wasn't clear.
