StampDAQ / PLX-DAQ problems with Vista / Excel 2007

edited 2007-10-08 04:20 in General Discussion
Hi Everyone,

I have been having a great deal of trouble. Has anyone gotten one of them to work?

StampDAQ reports:

Microsoft Visual Basic

Component " or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

Clicking OK yields:

Microsoft Visual Basic

Unexpected error (339) // and then it opens the VB debugger

PLX-DAQ reports:

Microsoft Forms

Could not load an object because it is not available on this machine

Clicking OK yields:

Microsoft Visual Basic

Run-time error '424':

Object required

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

Sounds like what I ran into with windows 2000 NT.· I just copied the StampDAQ file to the harddrive and it would not open right.· I had to let the program install itself, then it worked.

    Thanks, Bob.

I tried installing both versions properly. The funny thing is that the older version DID in fact work on an almost identical machine that was also running Vista / Office 2007. I used that machine to debug my PBasic code. The machine that I need to get it to work on just won't run it. I re-installed Vista, Office, and the Visual Studio suite. No Go.
