Calendar woes...
I have an idea for a program, but have run into a snag...
I want to set it up so that it can build a calendar based on a script.
(That way it wouldn't matter if the user prefers a Gregorian, Chinese, Aztec or even that silly·Star Trek·calendar.)
It would also allow 'fine-tuning' as to level of detail. Some might not need seconds, some couldn't care about an event that is more than a minute off, but REALLY need milli-second resolution...
The problem is that I need to set up a 'meta-language' to describe how the calendar is built up, with names, rules and exceptions, and that's where I run into problems.
Anyone got any suggestions where and how to start?
