Signal Conditioning

Im working on a project and I have a temperature sensor that has an impedance range of 280 ohms --> 1060 ohms. I want the output voltage to be linearly variable between -5 V and +5 V. The power dissipation across the sensor can't be more than 5mW. I already calculated the input signal voltage to be 2.3 V max to be able to keep the power dissipated by the sensor below 5mW, but how do I get the output voltage to the range that I want? Do I need to use opamps in some way? Oh and I'm not using a stamp microcontroller for this part of the project so suggestions for how to do this without one are much appreciated.
