Compilers for Macintosh?

I do have a question about compatabilty with the Mac.
A friend of mine would like to get into these microcontrollers, espeially the SX.
Do I understand this correctly that the Basic Stamp has a compiler available for the Mac?
Also there is nothing available for the SX? it is only programmable with Windows?
I did a search, but can't find anything at all for the Mac, but could have sworn I saw stuff in the past for the Mac.
Thanks for any help,
Alex

I haven't seen a Mac solution for the SX or the Propeller. If you've got a Mac made since January, 2006 it shouldn't be much of an issue as these Macs have Intel processors and they can run Windows directly. If you have a G4 or G5 Mac, some users have reported success with GuestPC or Virtual PC and Q is a free alternative that might work www.kju-app.org/kju/
