Has any one made a VB program or any other program to communicate between the prop and the computer as there is no hyperterminal in Vista?

    Yes, there is a nifty piece of FREE software called 'propterminal' .

    Look at this post...

    What is really clever about Propterminal;(amongst other things)·is that it disconnects from the prop as appropriate, to allow the device to program.

    Where-as.. Hyper-Terminal does not disconnect automatically to allow prop programming, thus 'hogs' the comm port and prevents programming.
