Has anyone bought RGB surface mount LEDs in large quantities?

Say, a 100 or 500.
If so, what was the price point for each LED?

    Last time, I brought from my runner at 60 cents each plus one time shipping from Asia. Each LED has total 8200 total mlm and brightness of 1600mcd 70-80 degree.· HP CREE chips.


    For the SMD same price, 4000 mlm,800mcd, 110-130 degreee

    Still .60 cents a peice. Not bad.

    I hear you.
    It was like 400 pcs·high flux last time.·· I recently just order ~$600 worth of 10W Power LEDs.
