USB to Serial connector trouble

HI,
I am using a usb to serial connector to upload programmmes to my BS2sx , but the editor wont reconignise to stamp on com 5,· i have confirmed the the usb to serial connector is using com 5 through my computer hardware profiles. So i cannot run any programmes. I have tried programming it with another conputer with an internal serial connection and it works. So my board and BS2sx is fine. How can i reslove this issue??

I use a USB to Serial converter (SWEEX) on com 11 and no problem with the editor / BS2 on BOE.
What type USB -> serial converter are you using ?

Make sure you have the correct drivers for the USB device. Also some devices don't pass all the signals required by the stamp through the cable. (saves them money)
