Hey folks!· I have my first basic stamp and I'm new to programing and electronics, so I need a little help.
I'm trying to use my basic stamp to control a household lightbulb. I want to make the light bulb to do two things, (1) I want to make it flicker, and (2) I want to make it slowely dim and brighten.
I think I have (1) taken care of. I use the basic stamp to control a solid state relay. I possibly do this by sending a varying pulseout command to the lowvoltage side of the relay, this should cause the light to flicker. Is this somewhat correct?
I dont know what to do about (2). I could possibly hook up a servo to a regular household dimmer, but I'm sure there's probably a electronic way of doing it. Possibly some kind of digital potientiometer.
Thanks for any help
