PENGUIN ROBOT Soccer is coming soon!

I'm putting finishing touches on the code today
and will beta test, followed by a demo movie.
The code will be posted here.

This program will allow Penguin to enter
robot league Soccer tournaments. Control
is by wireless using a Soccer Template
created in PBASIC.

He can kick a small soccer ball with one or
the other foot, make goals, act as Goalie,
work the field (or desktop), walk or run
forwards and backwards, and do turns.
There's some additional special functions.

Cool! Can't wait to see the video. I assume control will be via an infrared remote?

The vid is now up. Check out this post subject:
PENGUIN Robot Soccer - the Movie

Yes, it now has full functions using the IR hand
held remote with Sony standards, available from
    Parallax.

There's a master remote program that had to
be developed first, then integrated into the
soccer program. This was made into a
standardized template, that can be used with
all other programs. This is especially helpful
for those people who are not code savvy, as
    it's basically plug n' play.

I consider the remote program a wonderful
"breakthrough" for Penguin. It was a dream
of mine to complete it. It opens up all
new doors of possibilities for remote control.
The subroutines, while written in PBASIC,
resemble RoboBASIC on the advanced humanoid
    Robonova-1, designed and programmed by
Koreans. This is great news for Penguin robot
owners wanting a big increase in capabilities!
