New to SPIN

I would like to move on from using the picaxe to the propellor. My main stumbling block is progtramming. I am ok with basic and VB.Net.
Very nervious about how to quickly come to terms with SPIN.

Are there some books or tutorials on spin ?

    Oxe,

Yes, there are. Have a look at this page: http://www.parallax.com/propeller/downloads.asp
You'll find the Propeller Manual there (also reachable via your IDE->Help menu entry). There are also docs in the Propeller Education section and AppNotes section. For good examples, have a look at the Object Exchange site: http://obex.parallax.com
SPIN is not a hard language to learn, especially if you already know VB and normal basic.

    Gr,

Read through/do the PEK (Propeller Education Kit) labs, at least the first few to get the basics. Printing and having the quick reference guide at hand also helps to learn.

I second bulkheads suggestion... the PEK labs create the easiest path. The User Manual is far more meaningful and helpful once you have gone through the labs.
