New Sx user.
About 4 years ago I picked up a BS2 and started to experiment with a robot. Then I found a better use for my robot's brain, controlling the engine cooling fan on a hot rod. After rewiring everything under the hood it started to act up and not having touched it in all this time it took some head scratching to figure out it was broke.
Time for a new more powerfull chip, want it to do more that just run a fan this time. I looked at what was out there and compaired software, programmers, support, power of the chips and the cost to put all this together·to make something work. The SX won.
I ordered some stuff early this week, should be here Friday. And then I see Parallax is giving away stuff as part of their 20th anivesory, gratz to them. Gratz too me also, I won the SX forum prizes. WOOT!
I'll be reading the forums and expect I'll be asking dumb questions too. But in the mean time I'm a happy customer and I don't even have any parts yet.
