Emic Text-To-Speech Module

Hello All,
Is anyone else out there using the Emic TTS module? I'm having a problem amplifying the output. The module works fine with an 8 ohm speaker, but try to connect the output to an amplifier, and the whole setup crashes. I know enough to suspect an impedance matching issue, but don't know enough to design an impedance matching circuit to put on the output of the module. Can anyone help, please?
Thanks,
wned

How are you connecting the amp? Can you display a pic or diagram of how you have it hooked up?

When connecting to an amplifier you would use the Analog Output, not the Speaker output. Also you should always capacitively decouple the Emic from the Amplifier. Take care.

    Chris,

Can you provide a diagram of what you mean by " When connecting to an amplifier you would use the Analog Output, not the Speaker output. Also you should always capacitively decouple the Emic from the Amplifier " in your last reply. Also can you use exterial computer speakers that have a built-in amplifier inside them to amplify an Emic ? If so, how would they be connected?
