I am going with the pic I found a while ago cruising the USGS map site. An·overhead shot·of the strange parallax vehicles outside their·HQ, strange as they may be they have an all too familiar look to them.

The Festo, AG·· Air_Ray.· One of the best examples of working robotic autonamy I've ever seen!

    Amazing video at: http://www.festo.com/INetDomino/coorp_sites/en/22ff224c0cba8e40c12572d60033d076.htm

Massive 14 foot wingspan, 9 feet long, weighing in at only! 3.5 lb (boyancy assisted by helium)

Imagine working in an office building where this thing "flys" around in the 4 story atrium. I wouldn't get any work done for watching this thing all day.

I built this robot with Lego Mindstorms NXT then made a CAD model of it! If you would like building instructions let me know.

I named it Theodore because of its cute looks. : )

Tremble for the mighty Helltop computer:
When it isn't on my desk for repairs, it's mounted on a mobile drilling rig used to take rock samples during road and tunnel planning.
    s640x480
(Yes, the body is 1mm STEEL plate, and the front beezel is machined and anodized steel. )

Not 80.000 leagues under the sea, but...
This picture WAS taken from the comfort of a bus at 287meters below the sea, in an as of yet unfinished tunnel...
    s640x480

What we see is the opening into the 'overflow reservoir' which is supposed to handle up to 3 days worth of seepage in the case that both the two independent pump systems fails.

This is a boe-bot I made for my daughter. It Is a standard boe-bot with the crawler kit and the ping))) kit. I also added a red wide spectrum laser light. Basically what is dose is wander around and shine its red beam in the darkest areas of the room. My daughter is 6 years old and is going threw the scared of the dark phase. So I made this bot to look like a cute bug and shine light in the dark areas of her room while it wanders, and make my daughter feel like she is not in the room alone. Needless to say she loves it...lol

This picture was taken at 4 in the morning, me and my roommate pulling an all-nighter for the PennState RoboHoops competition the next morning. That night, from 5pm on, I taught myself SPIN and took a crash course on the Propeller Chip using the manual.

After completion of The Robotis Humanoid, one of my colleagues got the idea to put a Security sign in its Hands and place it in My research's labs window. Then they proceeded to photo shop my head onto its body. I guess I have become what I do... I get a big kick out of it!

um.....I'm surprised that no one has posted a picture of one of the most amazing technological developments of all!

You can't deny that the Propeller has done just what one of their ads say "Makes programming fun again!"

Here is my roommate's and my robot that we used this past's Penn State RoboHoops Competition. We built this robot from the dorm room, and put the finishing touches on it the night before the competition in my roommate's basement (along with a crash course in SPIN for me).

Ever wanted to be really strong? Exoskeleton augments the strength of your arms and legs, yet is maneuverable enough to run in.· Pneumatic pistons respond to the EMG signal in your muscles.· When you exert a lot of effort (EMG signal magnitude increases) the BS2 fires the appropriate piston to assist you.· Lifted 450lbs (I am too nervous to lift more).
