Thanks for the feedback. I had often thought about a two needle gauge such as a clock for example yet never tried it. I like the RotateTransform method it is considerably faster especially when you have several of the user controls on one form. When I set the code up for my user control I was a little unsure of the rectangle parameters so I definately need to do a little more reading on that subject.

Hmm I need to try for three needles now.
