Difference between Boe Bot robot kit and the Microsoft Robotics Studio
Is it true the only difference between these two kits is the BlueTooth Module is included in the studio?· Is there any other difference between these two kits.
· I have the Boe Bot Serial Kit, with the usb adapter.
Thanks for your help.
Also Happy 20th Anniversary Parallax, hope your still around for your 40th!!!···
··I enjoy learning about the Boe Bot robot, I'm almost past the middle of the book and enjoy every minute I can on the robot.· Years ago I started a robot using a Timex/Sinclair 1000 as the Brain, but don't have a rs232 interface for it, and the cassette recorder wasn't that great.· I'm glad I got the Boe Bot...

You are correct. Add the eb500 and you are set. (That is exactly the same as the BOEBot with Microsoft Robotics Kit)
As· the product info says though...
NOTE: Your PC will also need Bluetooth wireless. If it's not built-in, you can get an inexpensive USB Bluetooth module such as the D-Link DBT120 Wireless USB Bluetooth Adaptor.
I checked on this back when I ordered my BOEBot.

The big benefit to the MRS Kit is that the price is a bit lower than if you purchased the eb500 & USB/Serial adapter seperately.
