Isolated outputs power supplies

My son plays guitar and uses a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2. He is running 14 pedals and we are daisy chaining up to three pedals from Isolated 100mA jacks. Most of those use 25mA or so. What I am wondering is what kind of circuitry do you think they use to isolate the outputs. I am not sure what constitutes an isolated output. I would like to see a schematic of a typical isolated output power supply. I understand opto isolators and signal lines but how is it done in this type of circuit, isn't the ground the same on all outputs?

After doing some searching, i think they are using separate transformers for each output.

Think Inside the box first and if that doesn't work..
Re-arrange what's inside the box then...
Think outside the BOX!
