    They will have to bring the price down a tad, i doubt many people are going to dish out 150 bucks for a light bulb.

    If you consider how long they last and the power savings electricity doesn't have to get much higher to make it an option.

    I don't know though how much power savings you would get as the ballast is still the same and perhaps using the same amount of energy only more of it converting to heat.

    I played with the capacitor circuit using 120V AC and a rectifier bridge for lighting a single 20mA LED, that type of circuit could be used to light lots of small LED's

    Not sure if you could use a big capacitor to get 350mA or more for the high power LEDS though.
