Power supply for PEK?

Can I use the 7.5v/1A·power supply (the one·sold with the Prop demo board) with the Prop Education Kit?
If so, what extra parts/circuit changes would I need?

Yes, you can use any power supply that produces 6-9VDC and the 1A rating is more than adequate for the PEK. You only part you need is a socket to plug the power supply into. Radio Shack sells several different ones depending on how you want to mount it. No circuit changes are needed, just be sure to connect it correctly (positive output to positive power input on PEK, negative output to PEK ground). If you want, you could cut off the plug on the power supply and solder the ends of the leads to pins or stiff wires that would go in the breadboard.

This quote came from the setup and testing pdf for the PEK (a little info block)

"The 0.47 μF capacitor should be placed across the 9 V power input if you are using a 6-9 VDC supply
    that plugs into the wall."
