Does anybody have the schematics for a Beacon (IR) Navigation system as sort of· to build way points i think.
the transmitter and Emitter shcematics would be nice.

I am presently building the beacon tracking robot based on the iRobot Create chassis that Steve Norris described in his Nite Watchbot article in the Fall issue of Robot mag.
The source code download mentioned in the article is missing the debug_lcd spin obj and the C# GUI code.
You can get the debug_lcd spin obj from the Propeller Object Exchange.
If you email Steve, he will send you the C# GUI code or I can email it to you.
The beacons are iRobot Virtual Walls and according to Steve are a 38KHz carrier modulated at a 500Hz rate.
The iRobot Create Forum says that the carrier is 35KHz modulated at a 500Hz rate, but Steve indicated that his Panasonic 602 38KHz IR detector can see the beacon signal.
