What a great idea. A bunch of these would be perfect for teaching my nephew electronics using a Lego type approach.

i don't think so but you can use altavista for translating it or just ask

in this forum if you can not·find your way·with this german site.

I've bought DIP adapters for HD15 (VGA) and Mini-Din (keyboard and mouse) from Technological Arts. I got VGA video working on my PE kit, though I haven't yet wired up the keyboard or mouse to see if they work. No reason they shouldn't, though.

They have an 8-tact-switch board too.

About technological arts -- their breadboard extension boards can be had in about 8 different flavors. For the PEd kit, the SB flavor looks best. Bookmark this site.

This a well known shop for high-end lab and education equipment, and corresponding prices smile.gif Very good quality!

But I am soldering these little gadget myself for years. All you need is is a tiny piece from a striped prototype board (10 cents) and some pins from a 40 pin SMD pin header stripe (2 cent/pin) (sorry if I do not get the terms right)
You solder the number of pins you need to the copper side (add some for mechanical stability).

Works nice with toggle switches, power connectors, even complete small circuits...

You're right, I didn't notice the prices in my first euphoria.

    Wait, what's expensive?

Most of these adapters are only a few bucks, they're well made, and some of them simply cannot be made on perfboard because the holes don't line up.

I have the SD card adapter for sale at ucontroller.com

some of my other adapters listed can also be adapted to fit into a solderless breadboard by substituting a single row male header when assembling, and using wires to supply 5 volt, 3.3 volt and/or ground.

I should say you can overcome many problems with a drill and hot-melt adhesive smile.gif

But I also admit their parts look VERY professional!

For a lab "time is mony", having those parts can simplify life considerably, also the flexible patch wires they have, ending in pins nicely connected with shrink hoses, or tiny jacks. (around $1/piece)
