SS series SX chips

I have purchased some surface mount SX controllers........... Can anyone tell me the best way to etch or transfer , or adapt·them to a board.
The pins are too small for me to etch with my technique, Custom printed boards are way too expensive, and I have no·idea what to do.
I have a good soldering station that will work with them...........Is there any generic smt printed board that I could use to adapt them to a standard through hole board or anything like that?
