Serial Command Via Hyper Terminal/Visal Basic Proggram.

What I am looking to do is set up the stamp to listen to incoming serial connections and say i send "led1 on" it would reference led1 on and turn on led 1. Is there anyone out there that has done this?

There is a Nuts & Volts article (available from Parallax web site) using the SX chip that does this. It's #125 and is titled "Control from your favorite terminal". Worth reading.
