Audio Mixing desk - would it be possible

Hi I was wandering if it would be possible to create a mixing desk with the propeller. If so could anyone shed any light on the idea.
Any explanations of the workings of a mixing desk e.g. (Volume control, Audio On/Off, Effects, Amplification) How would these be done.
