Interface of Hitachi H48C Tri-Axis Accelerometer Module

·I have a Hitachi H48C Tri-Axis Accelerometer Module and I wanted to know what interface is used. On the ADC it says it uses SPI interface but the module has a bidirectional pin. This makes me think that it is SPI but the data out and data in lines are connected. Is this right? Thanks
