Emulate Mouse using Basic stamp

Has anybody done emulation of PC mouse with basic stamp? I have gone through the PS/2 protocol used for mouse/keyboard.
I understood that whenever a mouse is connected to a PC, the RTS pin is made low and the mouse sends an ASCII 'M' for couple of times so the PC recognizes it as mouse and start the communication. how do I do that with bs2?
are there any IC's or chips which can take data from basic stamp (my thought is to use some sensors or potentiometer for X/Y position and push buttons for left/right clicks) and give it to PC just like a mouse?

I haven't made any progress yet.......thought i could get some help in the forums but ......i am searching for any previous work and about the protocol in detail. Any PS/2 adapter/IC would help a lot. Do u know if we can use the chip from the mouse itself directly in our own way !!!
