Common Anode digit driver

Hello All,
I have been searching to find a Common Anode seven segment digit driver like the MAX 7219 for a long time. I was given ten one point five inch digits that I am going to use in a project. There will be no less than eight digits and I need the adjustable current ability of the MAX7219 offers. However it is not critical and I can use external current limit resistors if necessary. It is just that I do not want to tie up all of the Stamps I/O.
I do remember a previous post about using a MAX7219 and inverting the output but I hope this will not be necessary.
Ther must be a IC driver out·there somewhere, no?
Here is a link for the Digit I have. The P/N is E2-1180ASR1 C

Thanks for looking.

But it's WAY obsolete.
