Looking for 24 volt speed controller

I'm about to spend over $300 on a Vantec speed controller which I will use with 24 volt electric wheelchair motors. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a better alternative. The HB25s would be my first choice if only they would work with 24 volts.

The MD03 by Devantech will probably do what you want (you'll need one per motor):
    www.robot-electronics.co.uk/htm/md03tech.htm

They are distributed in the US by Acroname:

At $125 per driver, I'm not sure if that's substantially cheaper than the Vantec controller, but having I2C is really, really nice if you are interfacing to a micro such as the Stamp, SX, Prop, etc.

    W9GFO -

I've always been very satisfied with the motor controllers I've purchased from the link below and they are directly controllable from a PBASIC Stamp or any other microcontroller:

Thanks for the tips, I think the Devantech doesn't quite have the amps I'm looking for, I wanted at least 25. I'm going to look into the Diverse controller some more, that's one that I hadn't come across before.

    Thanks!
