The Wiimote is blue-tooth based. There does exist a program which lets you use the Wiimote, along with a USB blue-tooth reciever, to send signals to a PC. The PC could then send signals over the RS-232 cable to the BOE-Bot.
I don't know that the BOE-Bot can accept a blue-tooth module, and even if it does I suspect that would make the BOE-Bot a 'slave' as the wiimote is a 'slave', and you might need the PC in the middle anyway.
This WOULD require a PC-based program, written in VB or C++ or .NET or Perl or whatever.
Somebody else will have to comment on how hard it would be to get a Blue-tooth transciever on the BOE-Bot to 'listen' to the wiimote directly.
