Could you be more explicit on "not working" ?

    Hi,

The leds are working but I can't see the Pink module
    with my network.

The module was working fine and after I tried to add
    Java the Pink stop working.

For this reason I think that a general reset , charging
the original set of html codes could help.

Do you know how can I do that,

    Thanks, Joe

    Joe,

Does the PINK appear when you run the IPSETUP program? JavaScript isn’t going to cause the PINK Module to stop responding. There is no general reset other than turn the power off, wait 5 seconds and turn it back on.

If the IPSETUP program doesn’t appear you can download it from our website. Once you get it to appear please let me know if the PINK Module shows up in the list of devices.

    Joe,

I was offering some more common suggestions based on information you provided. There could be any number of reasons why the PINK doesn’t show up on your network. 99% of the time it is a network configuration or setting that is the issue. Do you understand your computer network and how to set up another device on it? If so, how is your network setup? Are you using Dynamic or Static IP Addresses?

    Thanks Chris ,

I have an other Pink module and it is working fine,
I can use it without problem.

Do you think if I can do a general reset or something
    like that ?

    Thanks, Joe

    Joe,

Sounds like one PINK Module may have been configured correctly and the other not? I’m unclear what has happened but since you asked about resetting it and that it used to work I can only guess that either it is not configured correctly, damaged or not getting enough power to operate. You mentioned switching to a Javelin. Interestingly if you were using a BS2 and switch to a Javelin and you power supply could only provide 300mA then when you switched to the Javelin you may be exceeding the supply’s capability and the PINK won’t have enough power to operate.

    Thanks,

But I am using more than 300 mA and I am using
    the same Basic Stamp.

The problem is that the one Pink module is working
and the other is not working using the same software
    and hardware.

Perhaps I need to do a general reset.

    Please, help
    , Joe

    Joe,

You keep mentioning this general reset…What general reset are you referring to? I re-read your original messages and now it seems you didn’t switch to a Javelin but perhaps Java refers to web code? Even so, no Java code is going to cause the PINK Module to stop responding. I can issue an RMA number to send it in for testing. We will determine the nature of the failure and provide some options.
