Recommendations for a display

I would need the following display features for a propeller project:

- Size about 4 inches or less
- Good brightness and contrast
- Viewable from any angle
- Would display text only, but different text types would be welcome
- I need about 40 columns x 20 lines, the more the better
- Color not necessary but would be nice to have

Recommendations ?

Have loads of options ... Look at the 2.5in LCD A/V Display ... I have one and it works fine ..

You can see it in action here .. Its in German but that doesn't matter - you get the idea..

With the various objects available this should exceed your requirements.

I've got a similar little LCD monitor (Pustom) interfaced to a Prop. Mine gets rather hot when it's been on for an hour or so, there isn't enough ventilation for the display. Is yours the same?

Yeah it used to get a bit hot - but nothing too serious - not a problem now as it is ripped up and fitted to an electrical cabinet ! as a test mule ..
