Since this isn't a completed project I wasn't quite sure where to post it, so.. here it is! :)

This is my robotic model train car, or not so model anymore since it's not actuallyed modeled after anything. But that's not the point. This train car is little more than a servo mounted atop a flatbed model train car but it's kinda cool. I used the basic stamp aboard the boe-bot to drive the servo as to tilt the water bottle/soda holder.

Anyway, that's my project(Actually about 1/5 of the final)

At the beginning of your video it says, "to dumb cargo."· Just thought you might want to know.

Hi DiablodeMorte, an interesting idea and it seems to work well, do you have a practical use for your dumpster or is it just an excersise in control. I know I looked at the video and your photographs and tried to imagine different uses for your idea. The strongest thought that came to mind was perhaps a drink dispenser where the train would travel several columns of different beverages , load the selected and then travel and dump it to the dispensing chute.

1/5th of the final , what plans do you have for the remaining 4/5ths.

BTW I tried unsuccessfully to revisit the video link , is the link broken or is my server acting up?

Here's the second part of the project! The robotic train engine. The engine uses the board off the Boe-Bot along with a HB-25 to control the train's motor. The train can move backward and forward and has ramping abilities. The tilting train car is connected to the board using a standard servo cable. The battery used to power the HB-25 and the board is a 7.2 Li-ion RC battery.(If this type of battery is harmful for the boe-bot board please tell me).
