Hi
I'm using the parallax servo controller to run the ESC that drives the motor,
And it works great.
But I·want the BS2 to be able to shut the power to the motor off and on.
Here is·a couple of ideas using n-channel MOSFETs,· I'd like to know if you think they will work
and if I'm leaving anything out,· or if theres a better way.
thanks

The Source lead of the IRL520 is almost always connected to NEG in switching applications.
Once set up, check the voltage drop across the Drain and Source connection when suppling the ESC to make sure the FET is turning on sufficiently to carry teh current being demanded by the motor. If its too high, the FET will heat up and/or your ESC will not get full voltage.
