Hi,
I am trying out the Prop as a three-phase signal generator for high frequencies.
I am a lazy person, so I try the simplest approach, which happens to be using a r2r resistor network for the D/A. It also helps that I had a box of them around.
I was a bit worried about the wiring. Some 30 wires to solder from P0..23 to the resistor networks. So, I had a look at the ProtoBoard layout. Guess what? No wires at all needed! The layout is just right. Not only are the three byte groups aligned neatly around the Prop chip, and not only is Vss in the just right place. There is also an emty via to receive the output pin from all three networks!
If that is pure luck, then I think it is true what they say about goal-keepers: A good goal-keeper also has some luck!
