A refurbished camcorder LCD might work, only they normally are much smaller, 2" to 3" max
Another possibility would be a LCD TV, or one of those clip-on LCD's that are on the market for the playstation 1 etc..
Most other LCD's do not support composite video inputs.

PSOne screens are also popular; however, I could not find one in stores in my area.

I have this exact monitor from Gamecube, and it works great for the $60 bucks having a 5 inch diagonal 3:4 aspect ratio screen

My only complaint is that the ON/OFF power button is reversed from what I think it should be.
It's a standard Push On / Push Off button, but when it's depressed, the unit is·OFF ; vise-versa for ON

Take a bright light source, a cheap lens, a cardboard box, some semi-transpararent paper, and Andre's Virtual reality LCD.
Focus the light source through the lens onto the LCD, and place it inside the cardboard box so that the light shining through the LCD hits the transparent paper glued to a 6" hole cut into the cardboard box. View the paper from the outside... Voila, a 6" projection screen.
No, seriously, it will be difficult to find something useful for 10 to 15 dollars.... Andre's LCD is a serious find!
LCD's normally are by nature not compatible with a composite video (NTSC) signals, they need some serious interface electronics to become compatible.
But even the simplest graphic color LCD's cost much more than 15 dollar, let alone one that accepts NTSC and is larger than a postage stamp..
Only when such a device is made in quantity (millions) the price can drop to the 50 dollar range.
