Ideas for use of Actuator
Hey Everyone,
A guy a my wife's workplace got me a very strong linear actuator. Here is the link http://www.linak.com/Products/?id3=41
The rear mounting bracket is broken off so they had to replace it (in the image below, it is the bracket on the right side). It was used on a hospital type bed. Attached below is data sheet. It is a model 312100-1115004A - this long string is explained in the data sheet).
I would love to hear any ideas on how to use this. It is a 24 volt motor (with encoder). Because of its tremendous power, I am a little afraid of the thing (probably a good idea). I don't know whether to try to salvage the motor (and other useful parts) or try to use the actuator itself for something (I would have to overcome the broken bracket problem).
Any ideas or suggestions?
