Can't Load Scribbler Program Maker File

I just bought a Scribbler robot and I am using the Scribbler Program Maker (version 1.0a)· which I downloaded from their web-site on a couple of PCs running Windows XP. I created a very simple program that accelerates from 36:36 up to about 50:50 by 10% every second. I used the Move Command with a multiplier of 1.10.

The program works fine in the Scribbler. However, when I save the file and try to open it again, I get a completely blank editor. I don't even get the default Start and End tiles. If I change the Move Commands to use an incrementer instead of a multiplier, it saves and loads fine.

Has anyone else seen this problem? I am attaching the simplest version of a program that causes the problem. Could someone try loading this and let me know if they experience the sample problem?

    Skippy,

'Looks like you found a bug. I've verified that it has to do with the "x"-style movement, but I'm not sure yet what's causing it. I'll have to dig into the source and post a fix once I've rooted it out. Meanwhile, try the "+"-style movement for incremental changes.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Update: I found the problem. Apparently the XML parser I'm using doesn't like extended ASCII characters, of which the multiplication symbol ("

    Skippy,

It's on its way. I assume the email address is a temp, but you may want to delete it from your post just the same. If you don't get the zip file, please let me know. Also, you still won't be able to read your old file, but you can create one just like it, and it should save and load okay this time.

    Thanks,
    Phil
