hi i have gotten my sumobot full running...the only problem is the it senses the gray as out.......and also i have white creases on my mat.....it also thinks it is out...how do i fix this prblem? i know it is the qti sensors...everthing works fine though

    Hello madroboter9000,

    I, too, have the SumoBots, and the manual states that you can use black marker on the white creases of the mat so that you do not have that problem.

    Seems like some of the tests you have performed didn't complete correctly. Go back and check the sensors to make sure they are working as they are supposed to. I think you may have the sensitivity too high and it is seeing "grey" as white. I thought the ring is supposed to be black.

    Did you do all the activities in the book?· Chapter 3, Activity #2·covers calibrating the QTI sensors in software for a specific ring location, and Activity #3 is about self-calibrating QTI code for varying conditions.· Give those a try and let us know how it goes.
