Sumobot help!!!!!immidately!!! Different part!

Okay here is the dealo!...both of my robots have completed the 5.1 test! What is going on is one of the robot just spins in circles!!!!!!! And the other one the red led flashes realy fast then goes forward fast! Then stop and nothin happens! The other one when i turn it on it it go in circle just spins like crazy!!!! What do i do!!!! Also the speaker doesn't make any noise!!!!! Uggh!!!!!! I have attached the codes!!! Which i have been using all along! Also my connections are correct checked it many times!

    I have·assembled many Sumobots with students. From what I can tell from your posts, I think you are hurrying along too much and not taking the time to really understand what each program and change to the robot is doing.

    I would reccomend starting at·2.2 and following the steps carefully. The programs you are using work for sure when everything is hooked up correctly. Take notes of what happens so you can tell us.

    2.1 - adjust the servos as reccomended
    2.2 - robot should move and turn around

    If the bot moves, the servos are correct.

    3.1 - Checks line sensors. If the values are OK, so are the sensors
    3.2 - Another QTI test. You can skip it, but it shows how the sensors are used in a program.
    3.3 - Robot should roam around the ring.

    If things aren't working, the odds are big that you have something hooked up wrong. I know you have checked, but I would reccomend taking everything off the breadbaord and starting again. We have all missed errors over and over, so just start again.

    Lastly, please don't write all in caps. It looks like you are shouting.

    I'm not qualified with the sumobot stuff specifically, but here's some stuff to consider. Low battery/power supply voltage. You gotta check them under load. If you are using a solderless breadboard, check connections with an ohmmeter. Intermittent connections can be a nightmare.
    If the breadboard is crowded, check wiring with ohmmeter. Verify everything carefully, take nothing for granted. The answer is literally "right before your eyes". Take a break. Relax a while and look again later with a fresh set eyes.

    could by infrared sensors be a problem ?

    So, everything up to step 5.1 is working correctly? If not go back and get it working. Slow down, read the book, understand the theory behind each step, do the step and if it works correctly go on to the next step.
