ultrasonic sensor question

Hi

I'm using Ping to detect distance, but I need another kind of ultrasonic probe like the ones used in ultrasonic wind sensor (i.e. cilindrical). Could someone tell me where I can·find·them on Internet and if BS2 is able to drive them?

Do you mean the transcucers on the ping or something else? I think you can get the bare transducers at futurelec.

Dear Stephen, I mean the transducers on the ping board and I'm looking for something like the probes you could see on the following link:

I can't tell what they are using on that device. www.futurelec.com has some water resistant ultrasonics. and this link www.avrfreaks.net/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&p=219485 talks about using them for the same thing as your links. Is a wind speed/direction device what you are looking for?
