    Dyndnx.com
sign up with them, then get the software for dinamic IP update to their website.
you will need to set your router to allow a port to be open through it to netburner.

I have DSL and my internet provider allows me to have a static IP sense I have the highest speed package. Check with your internet provider.

Depending on what you need to do and how you internet connection has be set up your dynamic ip address may be static enough. Typically you get a “lease” on your ip address that can stay the same for a fairly long period of time before it renews (changes), particularly if you never restart you computer (or router). I know I’ve had the same ip address for well over a month with my service provider.

    Thanks :

I understand that the IP number changes only when
    I turn off the computer.

I tried to unplug my computer (without turn it off) from the router and
then I plug the PINK Internet Netburner Kit to the router
( instead of the computer) but the PINK Internet Netburner Kit doesn't connect.

It seems that I need to use a computer and attach the PINK to
the computer. But do you know how can I attach the
PINK to the computer in order to access to see the PINK
    from Internet.

Do you have an idea ?

    Thanks, Mark

PS: Of course my internet provider can not fix the IP.

depending on your configuration it has more to do with your router and modem than your computer. If you have a router, your external IP will not change by turning off your computer. You would need to power cycle your router for a change of IP, and if you power cycle your router and modem it doesn't mean that your IP will change.

Concerning your Pink Module you have 2 options that I know of. Pay for a Static IP from your ISP or use a service like L_Gaminde suggested.
the concept is that you post a web page to a server, and on that page you have a link to your Pink. If and when your IP changes the program on your computer uploads the page with a new link to your pink with the new IP address.

if the IPsetup program can't find your pink Hang tight Chris will save the day! don't do anything too hasty, that was my mistake and I payed for it.

    Thanks,

My problem is that I can not modify the router because the router
is not mine (the owner is my internet provider)

So, my alternative is to attach the Pink to the computer.
and then I will try to "see" the Pink.

The problem I have is that I don't understand how can I
attach the PINK to the computer since the PINK has
    one RJ45 .

Do you know how can I do that ?

    Thanks, Mark

Im really not sure what you want to do
you say see it over the internet do you mean from another computer miles away
or are you saying within your house/business over the Lan. If you mean internet
then you must change settings in the modem/router to allow access. it is not modifing
anything other than settings and that's why there are settings.
Now you can have a static IP within you network but it must match you router dhcp settings (if using dhcp)
to be able to be seen by other computers on the network.

You really need to explain what you want to do, are you just trying to see the netburner with your computer, or over the internet, or over the lan???

If you can't modify your router then it's going to be really hard to get your pink browsable from the outside world. which kinda defeats the purpose of the pink. Even if you attach it to your computer, that won't make it viewable on the web. I think you need to explain what you want to use the pink for, then people will be able to understand how to help you.

Are you sure you're not confusing your modem with a router? Modems usually just have one in and one out connection. A router will have one in and multiple outs. The router will usually be plugged into the modem.
