Scribbler help!

Hello,
I just purchased a·Scribbler from Parallax. It got me very excited, as I have never experimented with a robot before, and I rushed home to try it out.
I inserted the six AA bateries and turned it on, trying out the various demos.
The demos that only sit there, sensing different light patterns, worked fine.
However, when I·try any of the movement demos, the robot continually goes in circles, BACKWARDS! I do not understand this, and I did everything the manual told me to- whats happening?
Thank you for your time,
Branflakes

Sorry, but I still need help!

You can post your questions about Scribbler in the Robotics heading. That is where they have moved its forum officially and that might get you more response.
I would recommend that you try the demos again starting in a well lighted area. This will help set the right demo based on the sensors you cover (prior to pressing the reset button). If that fails you can reload the original demo software as per the instructions. If the problem continues, at least you know the software is O.K. The Scribbler is a great little robot, I'll bet it is something simple to get corrected.
Come back a post specifically which demo you are trying to run and what your Scribbler is doing and I'll see if I can help.
Good luck.
