How do I attach a picture to my post?

I just took some digital (5m) pictures of my Prop_Bot circuitry that I want to post. When I try to do so I get a server error, which I think is brought about by a picture using more than the allowed 2 megs for an attachment. How do I get around this and allow picture attachments?
Thanks,
Richard

IrfanView (it's free) will resize your pics for you.

You need to reduce the size of your picture to something under a megabyte at least. If you have picture editing software, you can usually use that. On a Mac, you can use iPhoto or any of a variety of other programs, but I'm not sure what you'd use under Windows.

If you don't have a way to do this, you might have to post the photos on a photo sharing website like FLICKR and give a link to that page.

Ctrl-W in Microsoft Paint will resize the image.
