After giving up on trying to re-program the previous keypad entry access without an instruction book left by our previous home owners. (<- Problems retaining a code)
Here's something I put together over the weekend that adds yet another cool "gadget" to our household.· Enjoy!!!!
Note: Don't forget a reverse biased diode across the relay coil...
······· I used a "MAGNECRAFT W172DIP-21" which has a diode built-in ... http://www.mouser.com/catalog/630/1436.pdf··

I· like the way you mounted the Card Reader in your door frame .............
How hard was that to do
You made it look real good.............................
What BELLs and Whistles do you have in mind for this project................
Are you going to put the Basic Stamp Board in a Project Box ..................

The Card Reader "plate" is a blank wall outlet cover I picked up at the hardware store... The offset hole actually goes through the center opening of the reader's coil. The plate is opaque enough that at night you can see the Red/Green LED through it.
The access hole from the plate to inside the garage was already present because of a keypad that was previously there. If I were to do it from scratch, I would use a 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch masonry/wood bit (8 to 10 inches long should be enough) and just drill at an angle until I am inside.
BELLs and Whistles?... Probably nothing more
A project box? ... No to that as well ... since it's in the garage, what you see is what you get.

My last words shall be - "NOT YET!!!"
I found you can 'buy back' 5 bytes of precious RAM in a BS2 by saying
SERIN RFIDLine, T2400, [WAIT($0A), HEX2 buf(0), HEX2 buf(1),
HEX2 buf(2), HEX2 buf(3), HEX2 buf(4)]
instead of
SERIN RX, T2400, [WAIT($0A), STR buf\10] ' wait for hdr + ID
