HB-25 Motor Controller

I was wondering about when the Parallax product page on the HB-25 Motor Controller says that it can control 1 or 2 motors in the same direction, does that mean if you have 2 motors connected they have to be running at the same time also.

    The HB-25 is designed for one motor; what you can do, however, is daisy-chain two devices on the same host I/O pin -- the documentation explains the setup and signal timing differences when using two HB-25s.
