I have a problem using: ·serout rc.1, n9600,"a"
when I connect to my laptop serial port and run the hyperTerminal·and set it for (9600, 8bit, no hardware control)·I got wrong output
but when I change the hyperterminal setting to (9600, 7bit, no hardware control)·it works (sometimes)
I used BS2 with the same command and it works fine

what is the problem in my SX setup?

Make your serial pin low for about 10 milliseconds before attempting the first SEROUT -- this will clear "junk" from the receiver UART. If that doesn't work then you might want to put an inverter (MAX232) between the SX and your PC as it may not like the voltage out of the SX. If you use an inverter you'll need to change to T9600.

If you are trying to use the internal oscillator, then that would explain it too.
The internal oscillator is not accurate enough for serial communications.
